    Nice write up Mag! Interesting read. We had 6.9” of snow in December. Which is a few inches below our average. Not sure how much of that was sleet. 36 and showers this morning.

    45 degrees this morning. Accuweather has me getting 3 hours of a snow mix tonight. But it looks like Mags area gets a little, It’s more to western pa. Gripe: 56 degrees yesterday and can’t even get out on the river fishing.

    Ended up with .07” of rain. Far cry from what they was calling for. 31 degrees this morning and must have had some freezing rain overnight. This morning my whole truck was covered in ice.

    35 degrees this morning. Looks like the bulk of the rain coming from the Midwest is taking the Apps route. Looks like more showers than a soaker to my untrained eyes. 60 degrees Tuesday & Wednesday Everyone have a great new year! Let the snow season start.

    How much ice was on the river? 18 degrees this morning. Surprised it hit the teens. The rest of the month seeing green nothing blue. Even Buffalo is showing rain.

    25 degrees this morning. Last week 250 million people was below average temperatures. now this week 250 million people are above average temperatures . Crazy weather!

    I’m at 2° My doors on my Truck was froze shut. We’re not use to this kind of cold, it’s been awhile.

    And just like that, huge wind gusts and it starts snowing. 9:24am....Crazy weather

    I ended up with 3.9” front end snow. Approximately 2 inches of rain and pretty much all my snow pack is gone. I don't know how you figure that all out. My sump pump is sure getting a workout this morning. 36 degrees this morning.

    CTP kind of off on the last 2 snow forecasts. Still snowing steady and 3.75” at noon. Radar showing all blue up here. Nice Snow.

    I don’t have as much snow as Mag but still have some. Not much melt today

    Somewhat discouraging...end of November was going to be big. December was going to be better, see a pattern I would be up for a couple cutters even. But that mixed slop is hard to clean up. Bottom line we will take what Mother Nature wants to give us. Thanks Mag for the post. Thanks to everyone posting maps. This evening is our Christmas for the kids and grandkids. busy day...anyone good at wrapping gifts.

    Only one run...How many runs to go?

    I seen that and wondering what they are looking at. Still plenty of time for the models to sort things. A strong Bering Sea storm will bring heavy snow, gusty winds, coastal flooding and ice shoves to western Alaska. How does that effect things??

    Don’t rule out the Nam when it gets in range. It seems to have a nose for these huge storms. will be interesting seeing how the models preform. Thanks to everyone on the night shift! Voyager you still have time to come back for this storm.

    A lot of model runs until Thursday. Probably going to be some wiggle wiggle between now and then. Lets see how consistent the model runs are.

    That was fine. This was I think one of the worse storms that I had to deal with cleaning up....PASTE Had to get a metal shovel out to move the snow. Was afraid I was going to break my plastic one. Tractor snowblower plugged.
