    this from DVN does not warrant a heat advisory: INCLUDING THE CITY OF DUBUQUE 916 AM CDT TUE JUN 18 2024 ..HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM CDT THIS EVENING REST OF TODAY MOSTLY SUNNY. HIGHS IN THE UPPER 80S. SOUTH WINDS AROUND 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH. just the usual approach by them.

    Looking like a standard mid June 3-4 day heat wave in these parts. Might even get some pop up action to cool us down or the usual blow off cirrus to curb the heat some days. Looking forward to it.

    there is a death ridge every year. But clearly, it appears we are looking at a more moderate June-at least. Been a few years since that occurred. It's summer in the midwest-enjoy.
