  1. Dang, the models are so different now. I don't kniw what to believe
  2. Ros Runner says he is watching to see if things shift back Northwest. Says it would happen in the next 24 hours if so. Guess we gotta keep an eye on it going into tomorrow.
  3. Idk, seems like there has been a bunch of poofs in recent years
  4. Yeah, honestly I could just look at radar the day before and talk to friends in the next state over the night before and guess for myself. Lol
  5. Well, there you have it. All models have been an absolute joke in recent years. When it gets this close it doesn't do that much good. I can just look outside. I honestly think as just a layman that the science is flawed.
  6. I'm going to laugh when the tv mets go "See, this is why we wait. RVA only getting 3 inches." Meanwhile the models come out today and tomorrow showing the NW shift. I'm no weather person, but I can see patterns They seem to avoid mentioning 2 days of model runs showing big numbers, but speak up the moment only 2 model runs show lower numbers.
  7. Starting to believe again after that NAM It will be funny if NBC 12 had to change their map over and over
  8. Looks like NBC 12 has the right idea DT says his map comes out at 11
  9. To be fair though something is seriously wrong with the official measurements
  10. Well, I think this century Hampton Roads gets more significant snowfalls than Richmond
  11. The NAM has me worried because it was exactly right last time. Imma look at other models for my medicine.
  12. Honestly, if you under forecast people are just upset with you because they aren't properly prepared. If you over forecast people are just upset out of disappointment. Seems like slightly over forecasting would be better.
  13. Jim Duncan guessed 4-8 inches for Richmond 1 hour ago. NBC12 said 6-12 on their blog.
  14. NAM has 13 inches in DC. Euro had 8 and such totals down in Virginia and in Maryland. NAm completely cuts off Richmond and gives Maryland just a bit more.
  15. I find cheering for the NAM very odd when it has less overall snow for the region than the Euro has.
  16. If the NAM turns out to be right again then all these other models aren't worth shir for Virginia snowstorms and I will just ignore them until NAM is in range.
  17. But the sledding and snowball fights are still fun even at 32. I've never tried sledding in 20 inches of snow though.
  18. Man, that Euro looks like everyone is getting hit. Would be a record breaker for Richmond. Last storm really sucked for Richmond. Got stuck with damn freezing rain knocking out power and very little snow. NAM nailed that one.
  19. Well, I've begun preparing for the worst. This right after the high winds today is going to be something.
