It was proper cold today, finding spots in the sun helped, but it wasn’t easy up high. Arctic feel out there! .

Good news is it is cold, 12F Not so good, 2.5” overnight. Snow quality is top notch though .

Well, only an inch of sparkles fell. But, man those flakes did a nice job of making it feel like a true Feb day Pic may not capture the ice on the branches, and it may not be a perfect winter, but it hasn’t lost it’s flavor for adventure out there .

Switched to snow now up this way, be nice to have an over performer .

Hard to say what was more shocking, the quick 2” of snow that fell after work yesterday, or waking up to 46F Curious to see what tonight brings for the Mts .

It was -24 on Richford pass (rt 105) with wind blown snow. Very tundra like. Lots of fresh deer sign in the woods, pretty amazing how these animals just keep rolling with it. .

Yowza! That wind is rugged. Left work 30 min ago it was -12 Just in from running the dog into the woods to do dog business, now -20. Gonna go through some wood tonight How low will we go? .

Definitely had a mid mountain surface change from damp pow to sticky oatmeal, I know I will be waxing the skis this week[emoji23] I’ll be back to check out the backside terrain .

Shoveling roulette this morning 5.5” overnight, woke up to 37F and rain, does it melt off? Or does it become an iceberg?[emoji38] Imagine the mountain did well last night .
