Some sleet/snow hybrid here. We seem to have a dry slot here on the radar.

NWS in Wilmington continues to up the totals.

I hope that everyone wakes up in the morning and we all are looking at the models telling us we are getting lots of snow.

Actually, we might be in trouble. If this thing keeps going NW then us down here in SE NC are going to get some of that warm nose, I am sure.

The bad part was they busted horribly in the opposite direction when they got the call wrong in Jan 2000. Most of the day they were saying 1 -3" if I remember correctly. We ended up with 24" that night.

I don't know if this means anything but it is about 4 or 5 degrees warmer here in SE NC today then was forecast yesterday.

Well, this went to 0 in a hurry. I am about 20 miles west of Wilmington,NC and we were in the bullseye early. Usually were are left out of the winter weather because of the NW trend but now we can't get any NW trend. It was fun to track but this is probably our last shot of the year. I hate this kind of cold without winter weather.
