  1. Nah GFS is on the right track for next week. Maybe the following wave but lala land. I can hear the clock on winter ticking loudly.
  2. Where I'm at, I have ~19 inches so far, about half of normal. Not terribly exciting except I've had pack/cover for most of the winter. That is the most positive aspect of the this season and should not be discounted. For this weekend - I'm thinking I get 3 to 4 inches of snow until the changeover, and unless I get dry slotted for a bunch of the rain, this pack is toast on Sunday. I figure I'd have 5 to 6 inches OTG before the rain. If any snow remains, it will be a glacier by Monday, but it's not likely to sustain the rain and warmth. As far as next week - I think its a scraper. It'll put something down, so maybe I will be at 25 inches for the season by the end of it with this weekend's snow. Hard to see how I get to 40 this season if next week just scrapes. Again, if we get a couple inches out of that, it will be OTG for a week or so. Snow OTG for most of the winter, that's what I'm experiencing. Not bad.
  3. This is a case where there isn't enough ridging out west/wave space issues too, as Fork mention. Is that a GFS bias? Not that I know of.
  4. 20th wide right on the GFS. That will lock in.
  5. Gfs is going be congrats DC again for the 20th.
  6. Exactly. They have more snow than us this week because the gradient verified SOUTH of us. Also Florida has had record snows, noting the gradient also verified SOUTH of us. The south is having a great winter because the gradient has been SOUTH.
  7. JMA obviously stepping in for the Euro. PS I thought the American models were going to be broken forever from now on? I guess paradise hasn't broken out in Europe either.
  8. This winter id a win if we a big hit next week. Bring spring quickly..works for me.
  9. That's the best look on the GFS. Tricky to hold it for 8 days...it'll wobble. If we are lucky we wind up coming back to this kind of solution for day 3 or so. Buffalo or DC are the goalposts and we need it right down the middle.
  10. Looks like a success for SNE...good trend, as long as it doesn't continue....to Buffalo
  11. I love my xterra. Pro 4x. Mines a 2015, the last year they made em. Its getting on in years what to replace it with? They make anything like it anymore. Enjoy the snow
  12. I got a B- winter going here. Better than the last 2, which is already more than I could hope for.
  13. Why not? But everyone looking forward to a day 10 snow storm on one model are bound to be let down anyway. its nape season . Get on with it.
  14. Sunday cuts through western NY again so that ever so brief trend east is concluded, if there was any doubt.
  15. I can't kick the can that far so not entertaining the offer. It's almost time to grade this winter - which isn't really a terrible winter TBH - I've had snow cover for longer than any of the last 5 or 6 winters already - and it's certainly cold like winter should be. I'd hand out a B- without hesitation, maybe even a straight B, despite upcoming cutters. *if we got a legit 6" storm in here, B/B+ all day long. It would take a KU to get anything higher and the window for that closes a little more each day.
  16. Weekend cut on the euro. And that is a cut no yeahbuts
