Models are looking much better for most of NC. Few more runs and we may start to see a foot plus in the Piedmont and Coastal Plains.

High pressure to its NE. Nowhere to go but due east. It is also colder.

But colder overall it appears. I could be wrong though.

It looks fine to me out to 42 hours or so.

True, it is good at showing if the storm will be a big dawg or if temps will be an issue. Betting it shows a colder solution.

NAM usually does a great job sniffing out the big dawgs!

It is no doubt going to snow 30 inches across places in the south if the trends keep up. This amount of positive vibes will bring in the good weather. I cannot believe it has been so long. Any negativity is not needed, only good feelings on the models now.
