    The S/SW winds in excess of 35mph makes our large window panes flex pretty nicely. Thought I recall reading they are rated for 70+. but don't really know for sure. Thought crosses my mind of blow outs with big southerly winds as prow of house faces due south.

    Caribou FD looks bleak: Rain Wednesday and Wednesday night will fall heavily at times with 1.5 to 2.5 inches of rain expected with locally 3 to 4 inches of rain possible, especially Downeast and the Central Highlands. This will cause significant snow melt where the snow pack has set up across the north. Localized flooding is possible.

    Saddleback opening day with 52/68 trails open which is impressive. 3F and 39mph at the top. Gonna be cold.

    I've given up on expecting good Decembers (or winter) anymore. Used to get really upset about stuff like this, but now just accept it and move on. Sucks for sledding, but not much we can do.
