  1. There is "some" grass, but it's dormant. The stuff I put down is a Bayer product sold in Lowes.
  2. Well the crabgrass invasion continues to spread. I sprayed a couple nights ago with a post emergent, but not sure how well it will work. Not excited about putting that crap on the lawn, but I need to stop it somehow. Will need to hand seed/reseed the entire area next month. This is the last effort. No more money, no more "I want to have a decent lawn", my wife says just let it go and let it do what it wants.
  3. I only got a migraine once and it was while flying over the Rockies into Denver in the winter. The light reflecting off the mtns from the sun did it for me. Got off the plane and felt nauseous. My wife and I went to breakfast. I couldn't eat. Went back to her house, put cold towel on my forehead and took a long nap in the bedroom with as dark as I could get it. I feel bad for people that have to deal with them on a regular basis. Anyway, looks like rn is done. 0.28" for the day.
  4. Tropical downpours, severe storms fail
  5. Meh. 0.06" in round one. PWM must have gotten ~1"
  6. Been dumping in PWM for 30' or so.
  7. showers keep drying up as the push east
  8. I get PVC's off/on for years now. Extra ventricular beats. Nothing ominous says the Dr. They can ablate them which is what your in-law had done (burn the cells where the origin is in the heart), but it's not always successful and may need to be repeated. I've been reading the Haywire Heart, which is book about cardiac arrhythmias for endurance athletes. While I'm not into heavy training, the PVCs I get on the bike can be annoying. The book is a decent read otherwise.
  9. I just sprayed, somewhat reluctantly a bunch of crabbgrass last night. It's out of control. Looks like I'll be reseeding some areas next month
  10. Looks like first band of showers making its way up here.
  11. Saw this posted on wgme. Yesterday's storm in Augusta
  12. they should just abbreviate and say "COC". some people would be like
  13. Interesting. We got 0.15" early this morning then 0.13" in the tshower. I thought we would have picked up more since that cell moved right over out house Meanwhile a jet just flew over at 3000' heading to Lew. When I looked on flight radar it originated out of Arizona. I didn't think they had non stops for domestic between those cities. It was elite airways out of bullhead City
  14. ah. You're right on the corner of where I work; Riverside/Evergreen Dr. I'm next to Gearys' Beer
  15. hey, aren't you working across from the golf course now?
  16. 0.15" overnight, plus 0.13" yesterday.
  17. I'm sure your lawn still looks good
  18. I only hit once. Not happening again
  19. Lol, at first my phone corrected to all caps. I figured that would draw attention. I guess I should have worded it differently
