  1. VT gov going overboard a bit requiring all kids returning to school after TDay to be asked if they went anywhere other than their house for TDay. If so, you have to quarantine for 10 days or take covid test. I'd tell the school to mind their own business.
  2. Pretty much same for me. I'll eat some fish like haddock and salmon. Other seafood like clams, scallops are a no-go. It's more of a texture thing. Like a big chewy snot in my mouth. Sorry if I ruined anyone's late night dinner
  3. Just wife and I. Were going to get covid tested so we could go to a friends, but figured it was too much hassle and no assurances your negative. We'll have a nice dinner at the table with the three cats
  4. 1.15". Nice drink. PWM must have easily been over 2"
  5. ha. crap just falling from the sky. Thunder/lightening now.
  6. Los Angeles shuts down outside dining for next 3 wks. I'm sorry, but are they following any science?
  7. Looks like SR opening tomorrow. Too bad it's going to be raining
  8. Be nice to see first snow at some point soon. Other than a few flakes couple weeks ago, there's been zilch.
  9. Our gov just issued restaurant closure curfew. All have to be closed by 9pm.
  10. got a text from jeff the other day. Said he was alive and kicking. Not sure why he hasn't been on the board.
  11. don't worry, I'm sure we'll be able to grill in shorts around xmas
  12. are you saying then that any tracing is futile at this point?
  13. We should try reverse contact tracing. Rather then try and figure out all the people someone came in contact with, some countries trace back to the actual infected person that got said person exposed
  14. I didn't bother with the pain killers. Some bourbon was good enough without the constipation
  15. Taking a dump is the worst after surgery
  16. Wife and I are getting rapid tests next week so we can go to a friend's house for Tday. An older (70s) couple and their son. I'd rather stay home, but so long as we're neg, I feel ok about going. They rarely go out, so not real worried about getting anything from them.
  17. I wasn't being sarcastic at all, but whatever
  18. This is what I hope our governor looks at before implementing any widespread lockdowns again. I've been going to the gym in the mornings and there is usually <10 people. I feel pretty safe. At night, there's probably 30 or so. This pales in comparison to pre-covid where there was easily 100+ at 530pm. Anyhoo, Maine CDC should have enough data and contact tracing at this point to know which establishments are considered hot spots and not impose a blanket shutdown like Spring
  19. 27.2F at noon is chilly. Too bad it's not going to last
  20. Neighbors will all be spying on other neighbors ready to dial EMS. what a sad joke this is
