Media and others really pushing the "kids must be vaxed" message now. Looks like some (all?) schools will require vaccination and if you don't, you have to wear a mask. I feel bad for those mask wearers that will be labeled and possibly shamed now, as if kids in school don't have enough to deal with on a social level. I'm pro vax, but for these long term untested vaccines, it should be a choice, which it is (for now), but making kids and their parents decide between getting a vax or wearing a mask for another year or more isn't right.

Was at the Ortho today getting my elbow staples out and woman next to me was there for her appt. The nurse asked if she was vaxed. Most people would respond yes/no. This woman said "no and don't want it either!". There's strong resistance out there. I think most at this point have made up their mind whether they want the vax or not.

we both think we had covid from our vaca in NYC in Dec 2019.

wish my wife would get vacc'd, especially being a flight attendant. Tried having the discussion again this past wknd (during our 17th anniversary) and she seems more against it now than even a month ago. I let it go cause it was getting heated. I just don't want to be the person that said "I told ya so". Not that it's certain she will get, but I'd rather her stand a better chance of avoiding something severe if she does contract it.

For dinner, I'd recommend the Boathouse Bistro. Ask for a table outside on the top floor. For breakfast, Waves is good. For a drink, McSegulls or Mine Oyster. It's a small town, so not a ton of options. Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk
