Right the FV3 shows what happens if it’s too far north and the Friday low is too east...

That low is in a great spot but needs to be stronger to yank the cold air down. It tragic as is but still time as this story has not yet finished.

I guess it is only Thursday..there is a speck of time for a Sunday even...hell tonight/tomorrow has changed a bit every run...by 18z it will be a subtropical low from the south

I looked at my trees and they have icicles. Interesting. Let’s face it most of our events are mixed bag mess. I just want one more to hunt track and kill before I spread mulch.

Appears snow was the main show. Wouldn’t have thought that few days ago. Figured lots of IP/ZR would be the main show.

I think we are about done. Above freezing now at 33. Unless we get some good rates not bad I guess. I still want one more good snow at 25F before we call it a winter.

I’m still snow to your NE so that is knocking on my door I am sure. It was fun while it lasted. Measured 3.5 inches so not bad. If it ended now that would be fine.

Actually dropped temp to 30. Almost 3 degrees since 5am. Pouring snow. Very nice. Woke up at the perfect time it seems.

Everything caving already. Back to -SN and 32. Actually a little breezy. Will enjoy it while it lasts. Don’t se a lot of temp drop here. When it goes to rain it will likely be just rain with little ZR here.
