  1. I can log in fine, but for whatever reason I can’t find the “Add Entry” button (wasn’t it green?). (I would private message you instead of spamming the thread here, but for whatever reason the forum says you can’t accept messages.)
  2. Hey Kevin, I'm unable to add new entries this year. That's normally done from the "Your Records" page, correct? Not sure if I just forgot where it's located or something is up with my account.
  3. 'Twas two weeks before Christmas, and all through the forum, The weenies were praying for snow in decorum. The long-range ensembles were checked with great care, In hopes that a snowstorm soon would be there. The posters refreshed every model with dread, While visions of Grinch storms loomed large in their head. And Ryan with his tweets, and Tip with his lore, Kept parsing the patterns like prophets of yore. When out on the GFS there arose such a clatter, I clicked to 384 to see what’s the matter. Away to the guidance I flew with great haste, To find Christmas snow or a rain-soaked disgrace. The euro’s big storm, still a week far away, Looked like it might ruin the big holiday. With warm air from Dixie and rain all around, The Grinch storm was grinning—more wetness inbound. “No blocking! No cold air! The ridge is too strong!” The posters lamented, “Another year gone wrong!” When what to our doom-scrolling eyes should appear? A glimmer of hope in the EPS near. It teased with a snow track, so lively and quick, We knew in a moment, it might be a trick. More rapid than dry slots the updates they came, And forecasters shouted and called them by name: “Now GFS! Now Euro! Now ICON and NAM! On CMC! On UKIE! Stop spitting this scam! To the cold air aloft! To the Arctic high wall! Give us snowflakes for Christmas, or nothing at all!” As plumes of warm air up the coastline do fly, The fears of New Englanders rose to the sky. So back to the forums I returned in despair, While trolls smugly posted, “It’s 50 and fair.” And then in a twinkling, I heard on the page, A hopeful post hinting of colder days. The euro ensembles, so fickle, so sly, Had shifted south-eastward—oh, was it a lie? Their posts, how they twinkled! Their CAPS LOCK, how scary! Their outlooks were cautious, yet some grew unwary. “A coastal storm’s possible,” some dared to proclaim, Though others still muttered, “It’s rain just the same.” The snow maps were shared, though we all should have known, That Kuchera outputs are a devil’s own throne. But still we refreshed, on our screens it was clear: We’d take any sign that snow might draw near. As Christmas crept closer, the tension just grew, Each poster held tightly to their winter view. The Grinch storm still lingered, a threat near at hand, But maybe the models would bow to demand. So we logged off again, though sleep would evade, Our dreams filled with snowstorms that just might cascade. And I heard them exclaim, as hope clung to the night, "Merry Christmas to all—may the models get it right!" -WeenieGPT
