    In years like this, snowfall on top of snowpack, I'm reminded of what my grandmother said during her 15 or so years living in central New Hampshire, "Mother Nature doesn't like dirty snow."

    I know I’ve said this before when a bigger storm was heading our way, where the hell do all this weenies come from? It’s quite evident many don’t really pay attention to the weather, just big snowstorms. Many would benefit from paying attention year round and learning things.

    Yeah, that was my point. It looks like a biggie but we've had some true monsters and I dont see one of those, not yet at least. I'm also a results guy. The NFL Draft is entreating to watch but don't mean jack if the players don't perform.

    Upton considered it but held off for now. It's coming. Not the biggest storm we've ever had but a major storm for sure. I love the snow storms on top of snowpack, it's a good season.

    I was fun looking at the varaince in all of te local temps earlier this morning. -5 was my low, while Legoland, 7 miles away had a low of 3. I reference that one because they have a Davis station as well.

    Those of us who can generate their own cold are used to it +9 degress now.

    I don’t believe he was. Light snow continues up here near KMGJ, I didnt expect such a snowy weekend. Temp back below freezing, 31/29.

    Same here, been snowing since before dawn. It’s accumulating where I shovel but on the snow board, and yard, the snow just keeps getting denser. This is going to be a solid snowpack once the deep feeeze gets here.
