  1. A real Birch Bender here yesterday, that’s the leader still flopping to the left. The branch that looks like the leader was also flopping over to the left this morning so it’s starting to straighten out again.
  2. My oldest son works downtown, before COVID-19 hit he would spend close to two hours each way taking the train out of Campbell Hall and then the Path from Hoboken. Even with the coin he makes that commute everyday is not for me. That said, he's been working from a private beach house in SC since the end of March and who knows what the future is as far as remote working for those who can.
  3. Just saw a social media pic of close to golf ball sized hail out near Port Jervis.
  4. I have the Black and Decker 40v weed whacker, blower and 12” chainsaw, love them, so easy to use and maintain. The blower is ok, good for the grass clippings after mowing and leaves on the walk but you’re not going to get far with heavy leaves in the yard come fall but that’s ok, I have another blower for that when needed.
  5. Much like reading somes posts
  6. Euro showing a total of .10” of rain here in the next 10 days...
  7. The Euro showing a total of .30” of rain here in the next 10 days, I won’t have to deal with mowing the lawn anymore.
  8. My heat would’ve kick on if I had it on.
  9. This is definitely a stellar day, just stellar.
  10. 3 yards and a cloud of dust...not football...mowing the lawn...
  11. .16 here, DP down to 74 after a high of 76
  12. for elderly Florida residents.
  13. I’ve been seeing garter snakes since March, as is tradition, also have milk snakes. I saw one a couple weeks ago that was at least three feet long, that will get your attention. They are completely harmless to humans but are often mistaken for a poisonous snake, including myself the first time I encountered one years ago.
  14. That’s why I say it’s easier to maintain the lawn and flower gardens, my wife can deal with the veggie garden. Dry begets dry around here, sure it’s damp but it doesn’t add up to much of anything.
