    For all this moisture, not exactly a lot of it coming as rain.

    That was a rare soaker rain. Which I appreciated not just because of the drought but because I've got no downspouts on the house due to some home renovations.

    AQI was over 100 today for me. PM2.5 was in the 30s.

    Finally some rain. Only 0.4" but I'll take it and I won't admit being bitter that literally a mile away they're pushing a full inch.

    They'd go north up and around Cuba after the stop in Cayman. Still plenty of time to get out of there and still have a smooth ride for passengers.

    I saw pictures from all over the area of the aurora. yet I drove 10 minutes down the road to get away from as much light pollution as possible, and saw absolutely nothing.

    Cloud cover seems to be receding a lot faster than projected. Hopefully we can get a good view of the Northern Lights.

    GFS and Euro aren't ready to shed winter quite yet.

    Ended up with 1.88" of precip on the day with about 0.6" of that falling as snow or just that slop that came and went after it warmed up mid afternoon. 2.55" on the week. Great start to spring.

    Best I can guess is 2" here. I had 1.91" of liquid precip since Thursday night and 1.22" of that today until things froze up so we'll see what gets added to that when it melts.

    Down to 32 and ripping snow now.

    32.4 degrees but it still can't decide if it wants to be rain, sleet or snow.

    Rain/snow mix now. Temps slowly dropping back down. Give me enough snow to cover all the green and I'll call it a win.

    Up to an inch of rain on the day, but temps up to 36. Unless another shot of cold air shows up (and HRRR still insists on it), this is an ugly east coast-style "cold and rain" event.

    12z HRRR and GFS are ramping up snow totals

    I've lived here almost 5 years and I've always done with the rain/snow line when temps are marginal, even at 6300 feet.

    AFD is at least now acknowledging snow chances in the Palmer Divide.

    HRRR now even with significant snowfall

    18z NAM must see a lot of cold air. Dumping snow. GFS and Euro have a lot more snow outside of the mountains than the AFD suggests

    Nice storm for Denver to Boulder. Just teasing snow and about an inch for me. That puts me about 75" for the season and a foot more than last winter. Onto spring...
