    GFS keeps going back and forth with what it wants to do with next week's system.

    Unsurprisingly the 12z backs off mega storm totals but still gives a nice storm. Definitely something to keep an eye on

    It was sunny at 60 at 11:30, now less than 2 hours later, it's 30 with an eerie fog

    Well it only makes sense that the season goes above average when you get extra snow in a time period not typically known for significant snow.

    I bottomed out at -1. -45 would be a bit too chilly.

    My forecast was 8-12", gonna need a couple inches from these last couple bands to get to 8"

    Got 6" or so here. My first "real" snow experience after moving from Maryland and the fact schools didn't close is such a wonderful thing. In MD they'd close for an inch of snow, or even the threat of snow.

    The good stuff seemed to stay a bit further south and west than forecast with a pretty sharp cutoff. MBY got 3" of the 5-8" forecast, yet they got double that 8 miles south.

    Haven't had any real heavy snow today, but after shoveling for a 2nd time, I got more this afternoon than I thought

    Been nothing but flurries or at best light snow so far this afternoon. That good stuff to the SW just doesn't want to make it here
