GFS has had it for the most part the last 8 runs or so, but still varying widely each time, which isn't surprising this far out

GFS keeps going back and forth with what it wants to do with next week's system.

Unsurprisingly the 12z backs off mega storm totals but still gives a nice storm. Definitely something to keep an eye on

Well it only makes sense that the season goes above average when you get extra snow in a time period not typically known for significant snow.

I bottomed out at -1. -45 would be a bit too chilly.

Got down to -1.1 this morning. Coldest I ever saw in MD was 0. Haven't been outside yet to check, but I probably ended up between 8-10". NWS map shows me in the 8-12" range the last 48 hours but I haven't seen any specific reports yet

Snow should wrap up later this evening. Probably 8" on the day, on the low end of the forecast. Temp is 5.9 right now with a possibility of below zero for the low. About 14" on the week and 20" on the month.

My forecast was 8-12", gonna need a couple inches from these last couple bands to get to 8"

Got 6" or so here. My first "real" snow experience after moving from Maryland and the fact schools didn't close is such a wonderful thing. In MD they'd close for an inch of snow, or even the threat of snow.

By the end of the week MBY will have seen the same amount of snow in October than I saw all of last winter in MD.

I was disappointed with KBS. Good beer, but not nearly as good as the price point would suggest. I saw it on the shelves more in the last year than I ever have. Maybe the grandeur of it is running out.

5+ inches of snow here in Colorado overnight, still snowing. Schools canceled? Hack no, 2 hour delay. What a stark change from MD.
