  1. theme of the fall so far cold fronts that take us to normal briefly but there's no hit and hold cold....

  4. I lived in eastern NC as a kid for a few years...this is their climate....

  8. 20-21 was good as well as Jan 22, but yeah, it's been meager overall. Our last decent month was Jan 2022 which is now almost 3 yrs ago.

  14. I have done that too. But I was merely responding to Don's post....and while Don is referencing JB in particular his point about social media hype in general is spot on....
  15. He also went for a disruptive xmas week of travel etc last year due to a pattern change to cold/stormy. Instead it was warm and damp...the pattern change was almost a full month after that and only lasted about 8-9 days before flipping back to warmth...

  20. Mornings are too dark right now. That's why I don't think you'll ever see year round DST-sunrises at 8:30 here and 9:15am in western edges of each time zone-not happening. 78 here right now-summer in November
  21. Nice not having to run heat this time of year. (and no AC here-windows open instead)
