GFS skirts the coast again lol -
There is no common wind direction by month, it all depends on the upper level pattern. You can get NW winds in November or in February. Obviously its more likely to get colder air in Feb vs Nov. A couple years back there was a 2 week period of SW flow in February that hammered watertown with 2-3 LES events, but Buffalo didn't get hit because of a frozen lake.

Climo always wins out. You guys are in for some huge years coming up. This year still isn't over, Ontario doesn't freeze. February can be a good LES month for you.

The warmup on GFS is one day long on wednesday. Your snow should be fine.

I was on eastern at conversion under different name forgot what I used but I was there for like a year I think. I mainly posted on accuweather at the time. I think it converted in Nov of 2010? I want to say we lost a few eastern NY posters and a few WNY posters. There was a very active poster from Jamestown that went MIA.

I mean he was in the New England forum for 2 days earlier this week saying how this storm was coming west trolling them. Not a fan of that type of poster even though most here don't like the SNE crowd lol. Surprised hes not banned TBH.

To be fair the GFS is the only one showing no storm.

We walked it but we saw quite a few snow shoers and cross country skiers. It was definitely needed if we went there early, but went in afternoon.

A video I put together from our walk in the woods over the weekend. This is a local park 8 minutes from my house. It has so many beautiful trails.
