  1. Moderate snow falling here, heavy snow just to my SE. This stuff adds up quick with better size dendrites.
  2. Well they are 3-4 miles apart. The one that measured higher was closer to Lake Ontario and likely had lake enhanced totals while the other was 2.3” Ese of Lockport. Also if you weren’t measuring every 6 Hours with this pixie your totals would be much lower as it compacted quick.
  3. I like to do model verification after. Want to see which ones did the best lol.
  4. A general 8-16" across WNY. A solid hit across the area with it being mainly 1:10 ratios.
  5. Highest totals were Lockport and perrysburg with 16.8” and 16.5”. Highest in Erie was 13.6” https://kamala.cod.edu/ny/latest.nous41.KBUF.html
  6. I wouldn't put it in that category but I enjoyed the premise of it. Step Brothers is an all timer.
  7. Snow Totals https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=NWS&product=PNS&issuedby=BUF
  8. Picked up 11.7" of pixie dust snow the entire event, some of the sloppiest snow of the year. Thought we'd do better but ratios were pretty low. 71.5" on the year.
  9. Looks like a pretty uniform 8-12" across the area. Snow depths below. Going to do a sample later to see how much water is in this stuff, going to be the highest I think in quite awhile. https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=NWS&product=PNS&issuedby=BUF
  10. 11.7" storm total 71.5" on the year. Thought we would get higher based on radar but the flakes never really increased in size here. Pixie dust nearly the entire day.
  11. If I ran my snowblower right now the neighbors would kill me.
  12. There is something so relaxing when snow is falling and walking alone at night with your dog. Its calms my soul lol.
  13. Couple pics from the jeb walk with the doggy tonight. Was so peaceful, no one was out.
  14. Yeah shes very similar to her loves the snow. Shes the snow capital of WNY by far. She gets all the upslope off the Chautuaqua ridge. Think her average is like 225" a year.
  15. Shes a coop observer so I'd say real. Shes also at like 1300 feet on a hill. Shes been reporting since the late 90s.
  16. December is my favorite winter month. Losing it makes it impossible to give this winter a good grade.
  17. Highest total so far ...Cattaraugus County... Perrysburg 12.7 in 0900 PM 02/03 Public
