    Decent this morning and again this afternoon, rest was light stuff. Combo of very wet snow with sun angle.

    Yea March was warm +6.3. Had that late April storm which brought over 5" to KBUF. May was chillier with a negative .7 departure.

    Another couple weeks and I will be there. Doesn't take much to get my winter fix in. I just hope we don't get 40s and cold, cloudy, and rainy like we've had the last few years in late March-early May. That's the most depressing weather there is. The last few years we've skipped spring right to summer.

    Who put a piece of paper in front of the satellite while it was taking pictures today? Definitely not going ice skating on that ice, it all got pushed into the lake.

    KBUF recording station is at our airport. 5 miles north of airport probably averages 75" a year while 5 miles south probably averages 110" a year. Its similar for SYR recording station. They are located north of the city and average 124" per. If it was 5 miles south of SYR they would average like 90" per.

    GFS with active clipper/redeveloping pattern with marginally cold enough air. Not a terrible look.

    Ayuud is still here, but he only posts in big snow events for Metro Buffalo. Haven't seen the rest in awhile.

    Not a bad hire. He did decent with a terrible QB. Tua is an improved version of Jimmy G. Still think Bills dominate division for next decade though.

    Yeah my lifestyle is not conducive for children. However, there were kids on the cross country trails yesterday and lots of kids at holiday valley skiing.

    Yeah there is a ton of open water and the offshore flow pushed all the ice back into lake away from shorelines today. I'm quite surprised with how cold its been that this lake isnt 100% frozen.

    Yeah I love snowmobiling. Its been tough to do the last few years. This is week 5 of being able to do it consistently.
