  1. GEFS show a pretty good pattern as we get into March. Plenty of cold air close by and the SE ridge is not nearly as stout. Euro weeklies are similar with a cold first half of March.
  2. That's the best place to live though. Where you live now you can basically guarantee a massive LES event in the next 10 years. Its a question of when not if.
  3. KBUF going with back to back 50+ highs Weds/Thurs. Along with 1/2" of rain/high dews that should pretty much wipe out almost all of Upstates snowpack aside from higher elevations.
  4. Crazy because I think Bing/Alb set snowfall records last year? Syr has been missed in all directions. Just bad luck TBH.
  5. Something is up with Roc thermometer. The only location at a negative, no chance.
  6. That's crazy. I was using those stats as a way to say no way it does it a 3rd year in a row. Still a chance at a good March, pattern doesn't look horrible.
  7. The 2nd call was blatant defensive PI, the first one was 100% holding if called by the rule but they weren't calling it all game. The Higgins TD was 100% offensive PI so it was a wash. Losing OBJ early really hurt the Rams, if he played the entire game I think they run away with it. Rams had 7 sacks and Miller/Donald were in the backfield the entire 2nd half. The real superbowl was Chiefs Vs Bills. They would have beaten either team. Chiefs had a bad week 2 weeks ago in losing to Bengals. The top 2 favored teams going into next year are Chiefs and Bills using Vegas odds.
  8. Most of the LES events have been updated. 5 events so far on the year https://www.weather.gov/buf/lesEventArchive?season=2021-2022&event=A
  9. Here are my last 9. 2013-2015 was an epic stretch. 2013-14 snowfall: 161.7" 2018-19 snowfall: 122.8” 2014-15 snowfall: 212.8" 2019-20 snowfall: 83.3" 2015-16 snowfall: 80.1" 2020-21 snowfall: 101.1" 2016-17 snowfall: 93.3" 2021-22 snowfall: 76.9" 2017-18 snowfall: 152.4"
  10. We will be there Saturday-Monday. Really hoping the warmth/rain doesn't ruin the ice caves. Was also planning on Skating out there, I think the ice should still be pretty thick with the cold we've had.
  11. Doing this one, a little nervous being up there all alone. If I get lost you know what mountain I'm on. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/new-york/sawteeth-via-the-scenic-route
  12. Just hoping Sunday has some decent weather. Doing my first solo winter hike up in the ADK. Leaving at 3-4 am to try to get to summit for the sunrise. Going to be doing Sawteeth mountain for #39.
