  1. Figured it out be a good time for a new thread as we enter springtime. It looks like the next 2 weeks will feature warmer than normal temps. Temps for the winter- (Dec-Feb) BUF: +1.77 Dec: +6.8 Jan: -3.6 Feb: +2.1 ROC: -1.1 Dec: +4.7 Jan: -6.7 Feb: -1.3 WAT: -1.2 Dec: +5.3 Jan: -9.1 Feb: +0.2 SYR: +1.77 Dec: +7.6 Jan: -4.6 Feb: +2.3 BING: +0.2 Dec: +6.1 Jan: -4.9 Feb: -0.7 Watertown and Rochester had colder than normal winters, while BUF and SYR had warmer than normal winters. Rochesters winter temp was 3 degrees colder than both Buf and Syr, that's difficult to believe. Binghamton right around average for winter temps. Nice warmup later this week, a chance at some 60s. Looking further ahead
  2. Sorry @TugHillMatt I'm officially going to be cheering for warmth, sun, and high dews from here until Nov. 1st. Hopefully a few good storms too.
  3. Congrats! My wedding was in early May and we had temps in the 50s with very high winds/rain. Just never know around here with weather between March-Mid May.
  4. Yeah I used mine yesterday and then let it run out of gas and flushed the carb. All ready for next season. My sister forgot to do that last year and the carb was shot took my dad awhile to dismantle and clean it all out.
  5. Brutal out there 17 degrees moderate snow with high winds and blowing snow. Ready for spring lol
  6. After this weekend winter pretty much ends, this brings us into early April.
  7. 2016-2018 were both good winters for SYR as well as 2013-2015 winters.
  8. Looks like some heavy streamers moving through the area. Heavy Snow 22°F -6°C Humidity 71% Wind Speed W 18 G 24 mph Barometer 29.68 in (1006.1 mb) Dewpoint 14°F (-10°C) Visibility 0.25 mi Wind Chill 8°F (-13°C) Last update 12 Mar 1:54 pm EST
  9. Forecasted for tonight. Might be able to scoot over 100 if we get a decent band
  10. Yeah I actually don't remember one bust this year in WNY. While almost everyone is below normal snowfall including myself, the storms that did happen all performed. Very rare to go an entire year without a bust. The only one that you can call a bust here was that big LES storm that hit metro Buffalo. We only got 4" from that one, but we had 2 of them over perform by quite a bit. It still performed just further north than modeled.
  11. I actually haven't jack potted once this year in WNY. The big synoptic storm featured highest totals north of me, same with the big LES event. The other 2-3 LES/enhanced events had highest totals south of here. The last 2 events the jackpots were pretty close. I think we jack potted last night though, based on radar. In comparison to central NY, western NY has jack potted quite a bit this year.
  12. The stadium was really loud the first few seasons he was here. His body language and attitude was terrible from the get go. So glad hes gone.
  13. Think it’s time for last Jeb walk of the year. Heavy stuff about to move through.
