  1. He walked out and didn't know what to do after his first step, just kind of stood there looking around. Every step he took was a tip toe I don't think he likes ice like me, hes a huge snow lover though. Whenever we go for walks he always finds the biggest piles to jump in.
  2. My dog walking with the ice covered snow, tip toeing around! https://imgur.com/a/wSR3OCt
  3. Some big time ice last few hours here. Even streets are completely glazed over. My ice brush broke trying to get through it, pretty thick. There needs to be a warning in place not an advisory.
  4. A few lake effect chances on the GFS and GEM next 2 weeks.
  5. Wolf you know freezing rain is my favorite winter weather, no sad faces. I'm still waiting patiently for my ice storm.
  6. The GFS has been terrible. Was showing a cutter and 40s now shows an arctic outbreak with LES
  7. Insane. A legit snow hurricane. I have to experience something like that.
  8. Picked up 5.4" from round 1 of the storm. Picked up some intense banding across my area.
  9. A friend from here got 7.5" in Midland Texas. He's a Met over there, a regular poster on here. He said banding resulted in higher totals over his house.
  10. @OSUmetstud Any chance at some banding like we saw last night across southern erie county?
  11. Last night was pretty big over perfomer IMBY so I'll take the 6-7" additional and finish with a foot+. Would be largest storm of the year besides Novembers 10.2". Would be the first time in awhile where the top storms are all synoptic. My largest lake effect "event" was like 7".
  12. This is why I don't really view the HRRR as a good model.
  13. Finished with 5.4" for round 1. Winner was in Wyoming county 6.6".
  14. Going to bed at just under 5" of snow so far and still snowing moderately should be able to make it close to 6" by morning. Definite over performer for round 1.
