  1. We’re Definitely higher than that here Closer to lake 50-60
  2. I haven’t lost power here in any high wind warning event and I lose power without a wind advisory. Gusts have to be over 60 mph. Kbuf is really drooping the ball. Looks like down power lines along a main road in the town. Without a wind advisory up.
  3. The blizzard hit ski country and distant southtowns. 8-14" of snow with 40-50 MPH winds. There was no blizzard warning for the northtowns just a winter storm warning for 4-8" of snow and that verified. It's tough to distinguish the towns as I was technically in the blizzard warning and it verified for about an hour.
  4. It's actually quite a bit less impressive then I thought it would be at this point. There are 1-2" per in there but was thinking 2-4"+ would be there by now, should increase shortly.
  5. @TugHillMatt Should have moved to Springville tug, they are close to 200" this year. It's a 20-25 minute drive from my house to Springville.
  6. This band will make that one look weak overnight.
  7. Band is stretching far inland off Ontario. Cold brook NY
  8. From overnights snow https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=NWS&product=PNS&issuedby=BUF
  9. Officially lamest blizzard warning in history of blizzard warnings. Fire all of KBUF
  10. Wyoming county is getting slammed, just saw FB video. Has to be over a foot there already.
  11. They said 4-8" for the synoptic part of this event and were pretty much spot on. Lake effect will add another 1-2' across areas south of Buffalo. This was never a metro event. Blizzard conditions occurred this morning, but not for a continuous 3 hours, a warning would have sufficed. I like saving blizzard warnings for truly bad storms. https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=BUF&issuedby=BUF&product=LSR&format=CI&version=5&glossary=0
  12. The high winds are also ripping apart the bands off Erie
  13. Yeah the rgem caught on early it shows wsw winds
  14. Here comes the lake effect, on the northern edge of it right now
  15. Go buy a yardstick, I want measurements! Blizzard conditions are verifying here. Light/Moderate snow with whiteouts, especially in open areas.
