  1. Final totals https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=NWS&product=PNS&issuedby=BUF Erie: Springville with 34.5", Jamestown 31" Ontario: Carthage with 48", Croghan 42", Lorraine 40"
  2. Yeah, it ended up being the worst lake effect season in decades here. Even worse then 2011-12.
  3. Yeah this is 5 minutes from my house. Highest lake Erie levels in years along with 60-70 MPH winds and a wide open lake for Late Feb standards caused this.
  4. Isotherms forecast was pretty spot on, as it usual is. Raindance has been pretty good as well. Go look at their forecast in weather forecasting sub-forum. You can't predict individual storms, but you can predict patterns ahead of time. Both of those guys are so much better then long range models/ENS.
  5. This has to be the worst LES season in KBUF history, 2 events. The last one will make it the 3rd and best event of the year. https://www.weather.gov/buf/lesEventArchive?season=2019-2020&event=A
  6. Usually you get 2 ratters in a row. Would last year be considered a ratter? I know for Buf it wasn't. 2011-2013, 2015-2017, 2019-2021.
  7. Impressive totals. 26.5" off erie and 48" off Ontario https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=NWS&product=PNS&issuedby=BUF
  8. Yeah I was thinking of going to Holiday just because it might be the last time to go this year with great conditions.
  9. Every indice the wrong way for the entire winter. A combination of a bad pacific, a bad Atlantic, and most importantly a strong polar vortex.
  10. P & C Sunday Partly sunny, with a high near 40 Monday Rain. High near 48. Tuesday Mostly cloudy, with a high near 44. Wednesday Cloudy, with a high near 43. Thursday Mostly cloudy, with a high near 42.
  11. Well that about does it for "winter", good riddens
  12. A little over an inch here overnight, quite a bit SE of here.
  13. Springville https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10157058190630814&id=251522555813
  14. Still a really strong band off Ontario north of watertown. That band will strengthen and sink south later tonight.
  15. A lot of negatives to the bands off Erie today. Diurnal influences, shear, wind speeds, and dry air. Look for most of those issues too lessen throughout the afternoon. Should get a stronger band especially tonight, going to be a close call around here. Have had light snow the majority of the day here.
  16. That should be a good spot most of the day as winds even go further SW this afternoon ahead of the front.
  17. Off Erie band is getting stronger and moving a bit north. Getting some flakes here at work.
