  1. I mean look at this. Nothing but water covered. I think someones kid colored these maps with their crayola crayons. Must have been bring your kid to work day.
  2. I measured 16.2" here, most of the southtowns got 14-18". We also had that surprise event back in December with 6-9" of LES. The last LES event was a pretty big bust here as winds were too strong, had a little over 4" in that one. Hasn't been great, but not terrible.
  3. Saturday Night Snow showers, mainly after 10pm. Low around 19. Southwest wind around 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.
  4. Yeah RGEM looks pretty good for just south of Buffalo. It wavers the band a little and stalls it out for awhile compared to previous runs.
  5. Just finished booking my trip for Alaska in August. Got flight, rental, and air bnbs for 10 days! Spending 3-4 days in Denali and 5-6 in Seward/Kenai Fjords!
  6. Full blown mid winter on that cam right there. This cold stuff is for the birds.
  7. Potential for a few inches, don't expect much more as the winds are shifting so quickly.
  8. I do think hes overrated but at the same time think hes really good. I think him and Allen have a good thing going.
  9. Looks like the weeklies are a super torch for February. They haven't been that great, so lets hope they are wrong.
  10. Lets have a record wintry February and then March 2012 so I can open my pool early and float around sippin on my trulys.
  11. KBUF has reported at least a trace of snow everyday this month with measurable snow on 14 of 19 days. https://www.weather.gov/wrh/Climate?wfo=buf
  12. Its a different world up there in the winter. I've done 6 winter high peaks so far, hoping to do another 1-2 this year.
  13. I've done the maid of the mist a few times but never the cave of the winds. I'll try to go there this summer.
  14. Snowiest Januarys in Buffalo. Right now we are at 44.6". About to crack the top 10 with 13 days left.
  15. That arctic front should be pretty strong on Sunday. I'd expect a pretty strong Lake enhanced band to drift from north to south. Even low res GFS is showing it, something to watch.
