Yeah this month is going to be one of the best winter months in quite sometime for WNY. Up there with Jan/Early Feb of 2019 where we reached a max depth at airport of almost 30", and Dec/Jan of 2017/2018 for recent winters. Feb of 2021 wasn't bad either.

Mine tries to eat all the sticks too, only when he gets really excited. It's definitely a lab thing as my last one did the same thing. Beautiful dog.

Its similar but pretty different too. The high pressure is much further away then the last event. There is a limit to how far NW this gets unless the northern stream vort captures it quicker which would lead to quicker cyclogenesis and a further NW track. The longer it takes to "bomb" out the further east it goes.

Yeah this is still Bostons storm unless we see big changes next 1-2 days. Quite a few chances next 2 weeks on GFS. Will likely hit on one of them as the SE ridge starts to flex.

Getting some lake enhancement already as the clipper moves in, maybe another surprise?
