  1. It's still nice to see some increase in the northern areas even if it's overdone
  2. He just posted that about 10 minutes ago I was a little surprised by it myself but I thought it was worth sharing
  3. And that is probably the north side of Coatesville.
  4. I understand the published elevation but Coatesville is in Valley Township which is where the lower elevation is but as you head northwest it definitely rises. I experienced both 1993 and 1996 firsthand in my old home.
  5. As someone who grew up in Coatesville, you also have to understand that the surrounding areas are considered Coatesville too so it is possible back then that some totals were just outside the city proper. I grew up much closer to Honey Brook which is 738 elevation (in West Caln) and we always seemed to get higher totals then south of us in the Coatesville "area"
  6. Can you define old normal? Do mean in the last 200 years?
  7. Same here except I follow the Mid Atlantic thread instead
  8. Wow...I haven't been on the board for awhile (I'm mostly a winter guy) but it is sad to read about all the conflict that has occurred in recent times. I have fond memories of the times at "eastern" (i think that was the name) and then good times when we all came here. Since I haven't posted in almost a year I'm not sure if my vote should count but I still prefer our own forum fwiw. As most others do, I check facebook sites and other weather forums too but I will gladly continue to come here too for as long as the board lasts. Happy New Year everyone!!
  9. everyone made some sort of statement about the rough forecasting of this storm.....abc6, nbc10, cbs3, NWS, DT, etc if you don't like them then that is fine......i don't know how good or bad they are because i am not tracking their results which you should do if you are going to call them out like that......i do know that they are still a bunch of mets (not just steve d) that are putting in time and effort to try and put a forecast out for us and just like many other sources i appreciate them for that
