    5.25” in Takoma Park, more than I was expecting to wake up to, and the radar looks great.

    Picked up 0.25” in 11 minutes in these dark greens, very nice rates. 2.0” on the dot right now.

    Wow the NAMS look really good. That band of yellows looks to be orienting east west a little, could be a little training effect.

    Looks like the lulls are over around DC for the time being, radar has filled in nicely.

    1.2”’ in Takoma Park, very nice event so far. Hard to believe the models say we have 24+ more hours of snow.

    As @Bob Chill predicted earlier you can see the dry slot filling in back towards culpepper and front royal.

    This little band over Montgomery doesn’t look amazing on radar but is accumulating efficiently.

    32/24 with SN- instantly sticking, I love starting off a storm at or below freezing and not waiting for it to cool down.

    Adding up the lower bounds of the precipitation 6 hr maps I get about 0.5 inches for DC, so it should be a good run.
