  1. Beautiful - that’s about a 30 mile northward bump by the 1 inch contour and a much expanded 1.2 contour. Legit shot at 8-14 for DC if that thing makes one more bump north.
  2. DC is gonna get smacked. In a really good spot for this one.
  3. The spread isn’t that large really. It’s gonna snow in Maryland and Virginia. 3-6 or 4-8 probably works for most of the area except the edges. Most storms are like this with the shifting and model disagreement about placement of bands.
  4. No apologies necessary good sir. Thank you for your service and please continue your pbp every time. You are the goat.
  5. This is a thing of beauty. Tomorrow we can watch that 10+ zone creep up to dc and Baltimore.
  6. Is that showing an inch of qpf all snow for dc/south? 25 mm is approximately 1 inch.
  7. Hopefully they coalesce in the middle which gives our entire region a clean warning level storm. That may be the most likely scenario at this point.
  8. Possible yes, but maybe not most likely. If the euro and uk start creeping towards that I’ll buy it.
  9. Yeah it’s very hard for me to buy the warmer solutions when the euro/uk say it’s 24 degrees in dc and snowing with a jack south.
  10. Surprised no snow squall warning for this second band.
  11. Yo this rules!!!! Snow squall on an arctic front while we track our 6-12 inch storm.
  12. Gonna be even colder when that second band rolls through dc metro.
  13. The Euro is about .45-.5 QPF for us with temps 24-25. That's a very nice event for us in metro DC. And yeah it gives us room for the inevitable creep northward between now and Sunday.
  14. Yeah I guess I can just hide his posts myself
  15. @bncho Post more of the joking stuff in here, not in the discussion threads.
  16. I want the Euro to start giving us the coastal stuff for Monday afternoon/evening.
  17. Yeah it looks good to me. 78 hr panel has a classic look to it, developing coastal and a band of snow right over us.
  18. Definitely not sweating the thermals at this juncture with the Euro well south...but I think I would take the thermal issues during the day Monday for that coastal 3-6 of fluff at the end.
  19. Fantastic run again with great coastal at the end. Foot for DC.
  20. Great trends at 12z so far RGEM is beautiful, never dry slots us or mixes, 8-12.
