    Yeah, I feel like a transfer at that latitude with cold in place can actually work for us. Maybe this will keep evolving….I guess the problem is the high is gone by that point.

    Maybe, but we still have ensembles that aren't fully on board with the inland track. LWX specifically mentioned the shortwave is over a data sparse area in the Aleutians this morning so I'd think that means to give the ensembles a lot of weight.

    UK has a strong storm just offshore NC at 144....

    Looking at the black and white maps but appears the CMC looks similar to GFS....

    DC crushed at 135, flirting with the rain/snow line. Rain up to the mason dixon line at 138.

    Man that winter hurricane is gonna be a hell of a storm for the Canadians up in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.

    ICON is a nice hit, light/moderate daytime event with temps dropping as the snow falls. Sign me up.

    At least here in Takoma Park it was in the low 40s yesterday and I don’t think it dropped to freezing until around when the snow started.
