    NAM has a nice band of 4 inches of snow from the developing coastal, pushed a little further north this run. Richmond might score with it as it looks now.

    Surprisingly bad job by dc on snow removal. Most side streets snowpacked in brightwood, petworth, Columbia heights. Even some major intersections that don’t get a lot of sun are snowpacked.

    Yeah they seem fine for the most part. Most major arteries snow free, some side streets snow packed but mostly passable if u drive slowly.

    Maximum of a delay for them. They never do the 3rd day off.

    Kids are all able to make it to the sledding hill, which happens to be at a school! They could probably make it to school too.

    Schools in this area continue to be incredibly soft. The 2nd snow day after a storm is forgivable, the 3rd is not.

    EPS is a light event for all of us, and it’s trended better from last nights 0z run.

    I love these events, these are the kind of events that make a winter really fun IMO. We have the euro, GFS, and ICON with 0.2 QPF, the CMC 0.1, and UK is a shutout. I really like where we stand for a light event without precip type issues.

    ICON did ok with the most recent storm? I believe it was on team euro with keeping the goods dc and south which ended up verifying? Didn’t waffle too much?

    Just looking at 6Z euro and it’s another cold event for Saturday. Pack refresher 1-3 for us.

    Getting closer to 8 here with some of the best rates of the day. An inch on the road which was plowed around 5:30.

    These upper level passes are the best. Such a nice icing on the cake.
