  1. 67 degrees, overcast and breezy. Sitting out back watching the race. Been a while that it's been this cold during the afternoon
  2. Picked up 2.62" of rain last night. A bone chilling 69 right now. Starting Aug off well.
  3. Wow! Finally! Picked up 1.85" of rain last night. Crazy amount of lightning and thunder for 3 hours. Weather looks unstable for the next few days with a real cool down this weekend.
  4. Unfortunately I was right, wish I wasn't. Although this weekend looking cool and wet. Edit....It's raining!
  5. My area stuck at .43" since June 21...yes, .43. With the heat too, we are crispified. My lawn is gone, no mowing needed this week.
  6. Truly amazing how much rain has gone around me where I live. We have accumulated .40" of rain in the last 30 days, while just a few miles away have gotten 2 to 4 inches. Getting crispy out there especially with the constant 90 degree days. Not really seeing any break in the future.
  7. So sad. Sorry for your loss. Life truly is too short. Its amazing how quickly time goes by. Don't put off things in life that you want to do, as today could be your last!
  8. Went from rain every day beginning of June, to absolutely nothing in my area. Storms literally split around me every time they pop up. Getting dry around here, grass is browning, and the oaks are dropping leaves. Its all or nothing around here.
  9. Looks like official summer is coming in like summer. Hot hot hot!
  10. Amazing...Another inch of rain last night. My poor plants are drowning. 6inches now for the month.
  11. Why do people live in a climate they hate so much? Life is too short to be so miserable.
  12. To be honest, it hasn't been all that hot so far this year with all the rain, and cloud cover. What it has been though is HUMID!
  13. Yup, looks like it will continue through the end of the month. It is getting old.
  14. Anyone sick of this rain? I mean my lawn is ok with it, although I'm getting a nasty fungus on it in spots. Picked up another 3/4 inch of rain at 1am this morning with gusty winds.
  15. 3.2" of rain already for the month. Looks like the wet pattern continues ATLEAST until the end of the month. This is getting old. My plants are drowning this year. Lost 3 already. I'm guessing once the pattern changes, we will see no rain for months.
  16. Picked up almost 2 inches of rain in my area. We had 2 quick squalls come through early this afternoon, and a torrential downpour an hour ago, and still now raining moderately. Looks like we gonna have a wet June too.
  17. Yup, that's the Low offshore. Its a rarity seeing clouds and rain coming from the east. Its strange seeing clouds move that direction around here. Looks like unsettled weather the next 5 to 7 days. Another smokey morning for me too.
  18. One last post for May. Wound up with 12 inches of rain for the month, 7 inches was last week alone. Yesterday the sunshine in the early morning was beautiful, then the smoke arrived. The weather this year in general in my area has been overall awful. Today more smoke, then the dust is coming....LOL. The models show a wetter than normal pattern for June. Its getting old, but I am sure by the end July we will be in drought conditions. Its all or nothing these days.
  19. So weekend looking iffy around the ATL area. Rained the last 2 weekends, and this one looking borderline again. Not a washout, but could definitely ruin some outdoor plans. Have a great holiday weekend everyone. Lets all remember what this weekend represents. We owe our freedom to all those who served.
  20. So it looks like the abnormal cold that was forecast is backing off a bit for my area, and most in the South East. Sure some of the high elevations could get cold, but as usual, the warmth prevails this time of year. I will enjoy the one or 2 slightly below normal temps, and low humidity. Come the end of the month though, looks like another shot of "cold"
  21. Just in time for everyone's outdoor plans for Memorial day. The good thing, is even with below temps it will still be warm for outdoor activities, just not scorching hot, which is nice.
  22. Gonna be a coolish week ahead. Low of 46 monday morning
  23. Yup, cold nights. But the daytime temps were perfect for golf. Was a beautiful weekend.
  24. Some wicked storms came through around midnight last night. Lots of wind and half inch hail. My back patio was half covered. Half inch of precip.
  25. Dipped down to 37 this morning, with scattered frost. Looks like the roller coaster will continue with highs tomorrow in the upper 70's, and another possible frost watch Saturday.
