Inside five days, that’s when it’s worth while looking. Plus after the 15th the MJO will be in phase 8 and hopefully beat down the SER

Plus the speed of the storm, it’s moving quickly which will cut back on qpf maps

Snow maps are spitting out all froze precipitation and not identifying ZR or sleet. Id set expectations low

I’d temper expectations for 02/08 storm model’s are showing all precipitation as snow when it’s not.

The MJO won’t be in phase 8 til the 15th. Might have to wait til next week.

I use wunderground and my reading was -4. I selected another station which allows a view of the entire county. There were other below zero stations and many above by five degrees.
