  1. There is a trough in the west that is driving the south east ridge straight up I-95 Edit: that is for Thursday
  2. How is this not all rain throughout all three forums, Mid Atlantic, Philadelphia, and NYC
  3. Not sure what the driving force to move it north would be, everything right now is a west to east flow. And it’s gonna be fast moving ending sooner resultin in less snow totals Edit: this is a possibility per snowgoose from the NYC forum The setup is becoming crazily complicated now, they are almost involving 2 waves which is partially why this has come north and now the big system behind it is trending way less "cutty" at 00Z which I think most agreed would happen since this pattern is not producing a Great Lakes bomb
  4. I wouldn’t get too excited until that SER is gone, which hopefully will be after the 15th
  5. Inside five days, that’s when it’s worth while looking. Plus after the 15th the MJO will be in phase 8 and hopefully beat down the SER
  6. Plus the speed of the storm, it’s moving quickly which will cut back on qpf maps
  7. Snow maps are spitting out all froze precipitation and not identifying ZR or sleet. Id set expectations low
  8. I’d temper expectations for 02/08 storm model’s are showing all precipitation as snow when it’s not.
  9. The MJO won’t be in phase 8 til the 15th. Might have to wait til next week.
  10. Found this YT channel from the MA forum, definitely recommend a watch
  11. Even the Bluebirds at my feeder are turning more blue, definitely cancel.
  12. All kidding aside, my feeder is packed with Bluebirds, Cardinals, Goldfinches, Titmice, Chickadees, and four species of Woodpecker. They know something is coming
  13. At my bird feeder the Goldfinches summer plumage is beginning to show.
  14. KC’s defense is suspect. The eagles will have to out score the chiefs to win which they can
  15. I use wunderground and my reading was -4. I selected another station which allows a view of the entire county. There were other below zero stations and many above by five degrees.
  16. I had to customize that suet feeder just for the Pileated Woodpecker, double cake jawn
  17. Yeah, visits every day. I hear her yapping and drumming on a daily basis. I have about 30 species that visit my feeders since I moved to Jamison, Eastern Bluebirds are a special sight to see
  18. Looking at radar 7:30pm is the last heavy band of snow and it will taper off
  19. Ya know the grass is really greener on the other side Lol
