    You’ve definitly hit on the right idea. If I were still a drinker, it would be a Grolsch for me. But some hot cocoa will do just fine.

    Been watching the GFS and EURO and still feeling good about 10+ with blowing and drifting during and after the storm for UNV. Think Altoona, Clearfield, and State College are all looking good.

    True…the NAM is often referred to in the short range, and I have noticed you’re one who often gives it credit. Almost edited my post to say they’re both good for adding more to the overall discussion.

    GFS and Euro are still looking very good for us. Seems to me the Icon and NAM are usually not given as much weight here—unless they show a crushing.

    One of the memorable things about March ‘93 (aside from a great storm here) was the extreme weather still in the South while the storm was in progress here.

    Think your chances to score big with this look pretty good. I’d be okay with a foot. But my feet are killing me so am inclined to think this will be bigger AND with lots of wind both during and after for some nice blowing and drifting. Been a very long time since I’ve seen that. All the elements are certainly there. Which hasn’t happened in quite awhile for my location. Just a matter of everything aligning just right.

    If I’m not mistaken, that’s usually a very favorable scenario for UNV (among others) scoring big with deformation snow.

    Right foot bunion says all snow. Left foot bunion says some sleet. I’m right-handed so have to go with all snow.

    Gee…sure hope these all-over-the-place model runs don’t confuse the storm. Because right now my bunions tell me this storm is a UNV special.

    Was only joking around. I have lots of closeup footage of hawks catching and eviscerating birds on my patio. Mother Nature rules.

    Count me as giddy. Deform bands are our best chance for major amounts here. Moreso than many other areas where you can count on being in the main precip shield for any prolonged period.
