  1. The Cape really isn't that warm in slummer, TBH. Champlain valley can get toasty and humid, which is nice.
  2. Can even hear faint rumbles here in the 01473, and can see the tops of them storms down south there in them flatlands.
  3. Yep. Always seems to be a split right down RT 2. Been noticing it since I moved here 12 years ago.
  4. Crazy crazy. Haven't been up there since the floods last summer, seems like every culvert and roadside along a stream bed had to be replaced or re-armored. Can still see logs wedged where bridge decks meet the abutments in okemo area. Just insane. Hopefully stays benign for this season for you guys.
  5. Yeah I got up there Friday and left mid day today. Basically rained the whole time. Still a fun time tho. Had a few hours of HHH yesterday which everyone in Rutland was out and about lol. Thinking of skipping VT altogether in the future, all it does is rain. Supposed to go up next weekend buts already looking like slow moving Fropas'. Meanwhile back here it's half sun and Bermuda blues, albeit a little chill in the air when the sun is blocked.
  6. What is up with VT and the rain the past decade? Relentless every summer.
  7. Nothing but dog shit showers and Smoky camp fires all day here at Gifford's woods VT. Decent downpour now as the only consolation prize
  8. Still 77 here at the top of Killington pass on RT 4 the car thermo says. Was very Dewey and hazy in Rutland. Still need more sun tho.
  9. Hard to believe we're going to see any significant sun though to get things really firing
  10. Yeah I'm in Killington now, been raining all day basically with mist and clouds. No fun on the weather end. Fishing was good tho!
  11. Meh, lots of rumbling but rather weak
  12. We can go years without hitting 90 in our area, so it is impressive.
  13. More record high minimums, only records we break now.
  14. Place is in an absolute pit with hills on both sides, surprised they don't give the lower CT valley a run for their money sometimes.
  15. Typically New Mehgland, nothing extreme ever happens anymore. Only in days of yore.
  16. Lol They don't empty the planes mid air, but I know you know this.
  17. From BOX's AFD "If you haven`t already done so, the weekend would be a good time as any to put in any window air-conditioning units as our weather pattern changes toward very warm and humid weather into next week." I think the Rev may have wrote it? Lol
  18. The Stein now will contribute to an even better heat dome event when it arrives.
  19. All mine are doing it as well. Maybe just cyclical? Did it a couple years ago as well. All our ashes are dying though. Lots of big ones along the streets succumbing rather quickly. Sad. Another species lost.
