  1. Looks a little thin and icy in this pic
  2. It's real. Long Island is like the Cape, all pitch pines.
  3. The March storm a few years ago was almost a 36 incher as well. Pure moisture bomb
  4. 4 degrees. Should keep the lakes frozen for one more weekend.
  5. Don't the heated shields help a bit with the snow?
  6. Local roads were not great, also slipped and fell into my bosses Audi, luckily my truck door missed his car. My lips are sealed.
  7. I mean, wouldn't take much to see the higher end when dealing with such small amounts
  8. Yup. It is a little nerve wracking when it gets thick and branches start coming down, but luckily I don't really have any trees over my house or garage. The shed is another story.....
  9. All over the place in here. Some saying spring will sprang, and others saying deep deep winter.
  10. You'll be able to ride great locally come next weekend, and without the crowds of "up north".
  11. Is the radar supposed to blossom some? Looks a little weak right now.
  12. Just started here in Westminster, small flakes but quickly roads getting covered.
  13. I'll be coming back 93/3 on Sunday from Campton area as well, with a snowmobile trailer, I think we're in for a slow ride if we leave in the morning. Might be best to wait until the afternoon. NH Dot and mass don't do a good job with the highways, but still will be slow.
  14. I feel like we used to get tons of them, but they've been more rare the last 10 years or so.
  15. Coming down nicely now. 3/4" maybe? On the way back from Logan it started wet flakes right after 495, but really didn't pick up until passing RT 31 exit on RT 2.
  16. Have you tried riding this year yet? It sucks all over new England and it's already February. She gone.
  17. I just got back from riding in Pittsburg, and it was not great. Lower elevations around the lakes are poop, and at elevation it's ok but thin in a lot of spots and all bumps.
  18. The good news with all the dryness is that we may have an exciting spring fire season to look forward to
  19. True. But inches of retention care bigly. Stuff was melting off yesterday that normally wouldn't happen on say December 19. My grandmother, mother, and aunts would always say after July 4 summer is basically over. Yes the peak heat is coming, but the back to school stuff starts to come out, the day light is less .....and if you've been stuck in misery mist and clouds until July 4, well you just missed half the summer. The clock doesn't lie. It's like watching only the best part of the movie. Why bother watching the start, when the best is yet to come?
  20. Go for the futility record at this point?
  21. Nope, Brigham Pond. There was one other group out there
