  1. Had no expectations of measurable, but thus far have picked up 1.5". Pleasant little event.
  2. 12z NAM spits outs 27" over my head. Therefore, it must be the most correct.
  3. Some nice fake snow today. I'm liking the look of some of those clown maps too.
  4. 31.5°/30.0° with ZR- Bit of a glaze on some surfaces, but nothing remarkable.
  5. 35.4° here in Bradford, and suddenly there's a bunch of sleet rolling off the roof.
  6. Made it down to 26.1°. Not as cold as Oct 10th, but still pretty chilly. I suppose winter is on its way.
  7. Gonna be a chilly one tonight. Clear skies, dead calm, and already down to 28.9°.
  8. Thanks! Yeah, I originally intended to have them fixed in place, but then I realized I could avoid adding gable vents by just having the the cupola windows open instead. I'm on the lookout for an antique bell to hang in there. My plan is to rig something up to get it to ring on the hour.
  9. This is what I get for making stupid jokes. My power just cut for a few minutes, and I have literally no cell service at my house, as in, I can't even send SMS messages without the internet, lol.
  10. Not to brag, but my anemometer recorded a massive gust of 20.6 mph earlier today. Massive damage too. One of my plastic Adirondack chairs tipped over.
  11. Heating can be expensive. My parents spent around 1000$ a month in fuel oil during winter at their old house. And that was with a pellet stove too.
  12. 1.44" in the stratus this morning. Kind of in the middle of my expectations. And heat wise, was able to avoid it until the 10th of this month when it hit 25° in the morning. Fuel oil fired furnace, which kind of sucks.
  13. I'm up to 0.27" right now. Building an ark in the basement as we speak.
  14. It's been a while since my last barn update. Still have some trim work to finish up, and the doors have to be made (planning on a naturally stained wood in a chevron pattern), but the painters should be arriving sometime next week. Electrical will be the last problem to tackle, but I think that'll have to wait for spring.
  15. 27.5° for the low this morning. 7th day below freezing this month.
  16. Nothing overnight, 0.21" yesterday, 0.71" for September, and 1.24" for August. Seems positively lush compared to some nearby posters. Currently, light to moderate rain under the beam, sitting in the porch, drinking coffee, and enjoying the dews while they last.
  17. What, are you telling me that the eastern shore doesn't get its first frost at the same time as far northern Maine?
  18. 31.3 this morning in the lowlands just south of Lake Sunapee.
