Nearly 2" of rain since it started. Haven't seen any flakes in se Bergen County.

Sitting at just over 3/4 of an inch of rain today. Not bad.

Mowed last week. Sprinklers had been off for weeks and removed them Thursday.

Was outside with puppy watching bees pollinating my foxgloves which keep on producing. They, my sedum, royal vandals and roses keep producing new growth.

Will this finally put my perennials to winter sleep? Got plants still growing, new off shoots and new flowers... Bees still pollinating!

My puppy experienced rain drops for first time. He was trying to eat them before hitting his face.

Thickest of that plume is just to my North. Skies are brown. The smell is so strong. Sinuses and eyes are just killing me from it.

Maybe we need another 80 degree November day like 93. We remember how good that winter of 93/94 was.

76 still. Feels humid too. Ac back on to make sleep comfortable. Backyard is like a dustbowl. Puppy kicks up a dustorm when's running around.

Had some rain early in am. Now it's just absolutely gorgeous out. Only downside is all the brush fires I keep reading about that are popping up all over nnj.

It's drizzling here in little ferry, nj! Outside with puppy and I feel it hitting me and wet drops appear before my eyes on the parched ground.
