    As I get older and thinner this cold really just kills you at 530am. A few years ago this woukd be shorts and hoodie weather still. Now I'm in jeans, winter carhartt jacket and insulated gloves. 13 absolutely freezing degrees in Kearny, nj.

    A compacted 4" on flat roof of cars today since Saturday s storm.

    Pretty slow ride home on the turnpike. Some heavy bands made visible pretty poor. Snow isn't really stick much to shoveled areas by me.

    Snow picking up in Manalapan and winds have increased a lot too.

    I went back and read posts. Right after I posted snow started up again and was quickly coating everything. From secaucus south on 95 and into Monmouth County very little accumulation. Got to Manalapan at in-laws and it's coming down good!

    In a dry slot. Hasn't been snowing for a few hours. Looking at radar it almost looks over.

    Just under 1.5" aty house. Snow was absolutely thumping almost the entire time. Roads got covered up.

    Started about 90 minutes ago here in little ferry, nj and has been just doing snow since! Big heavy flakes.

    Had a coating of snow when I walked outside at 515 this morning and had light snow driving in to work.

    Winds howling at ocean grove boardwalk. Shorts and a hoodie were not proper attire.

    Was very surprised by how much snow fell in a short amount of time. Looked like half to 3/4 of an inch. Enough to make my boxer go insane and not want to come back inside. These dam winds though... Ooofaa
