Approaching 2" for the day

Another round of storms headed my way. Curious at my totals.

Some intense lightning out here now

Small cell started building and moved into my area. Strongest winds of the day and monsoon rains.

Was clearing up up here in Bergen County. Blue skues and some sun were breaking through but that's gone. Clouds and darkness have filled back in.

3/4 of an inch so far.

Light rain but crazy amounts of thunder and lightning.

Had blue skies at home today. No smell if smoke but still hazey. Driving down turnpike you can almost see the cutoff from heavy smoke to light haze by Middlesex County area.

Have a cool breeze in Kearny right now. Making it feel tolerable minus the smell of smoke.

Driving into work this morning you couldn't even see Manhattan from the turnpike the smoke was so thick.

Thought the thunderstorms woulda cleared some of the smoke, in fact it's worse then earlier.

Was mehhh. Some moderate rainfall and a rumble of thunder.

Nice line if storms building to my northwest. Looks like it might hold together by me. Fingers crossed.

It certainly does. 545 am feels way different over hear compared to 12pm.

Gorgeous morning. Nice breeze bringing in that ocean air smell into Meadowlands in Kearny, seagulls laughing. Close you eyes you could almost envision being at the shore.

Warmed up nicely once clouds cleared. A tad humid. Got start the fungus treatments on lawn with this weather.

Darkness falls upon parts of my south again. Looks like southern Hudson county goi g get a nice line of thunderstorms.

Getting dark by me. Storms finally approaching.

The storm clouds that are to my south/se are impressive. The cold breeze feels amazing right now.

Nice and dark to my south. No rain here but with strong gusts of wind you feel the cold air from it all.

Radar has been slowly filling in over Bergen County. Rain has picked up. Not much accumulation since getting home from work earlier.
