2 inches of rain fell here at home today.

Drove through the hardest rain in a long time. Had hail on parkway in holmdel, lots of flooding in spots. Tons of ctg lightning. Cleared up in Woodbridge. Is getting extremely dark again to my south now that I'm back home.

Some of the most intense rains earlier I've ever driven in. Took a track patrol on nj transit coast line before. Crossing the Raritan river looked like a water spout east of us. Pretty incredible stuff when you're in such a wide open area.

Had some heavy rains albeit brief in Newark on the turnpike. Had double rainbow entire drive down to red bank.

Had another 1/2" of rain overnight. Gorgeous out right now. Nice cool breeze!

Hit 2" of rain. Winds were blowing the rain right through my bathroom exhaust vent pushing water through tubes and into my bathroom. Soaked ceiling.

Been non-stop pouting rain since it started. Reminds me a bit like Ida a few years back. Glad training was done at 2pm today.

Had nice storm around 2am. Got 1/4" of rain. Warm out but a cool breeze making things tolerable.

One if the crazier storms of recent memory. Flooding and trees diwn across several of our rail lines. One train struck tree on pascack Valley line and enormous one came down in millburn. Had wonderful clouds coming across shark inlet earlier.

Im eating my words. Walking over the catwalk at work Atari g at the wall of rain blacking out the nj turnpike and being like "that's so cool looking" then realizing I still gotta walk outside to the main entrance.... Didn't make it lol

Pretty sure my rain guage was empty yesterday. I know it rained a lot but I got 3 1/4" in the guage now in se Bergen County.

Nice looking storm clouds to my south from second floor window. PA is getting dumped on today.
