Had some incredible flooding from the rains in Bergen County near where my son lives. Trees down too.

Had some crazy flooding rains in Plainfield earlier, had to warn trains of it. Getting hit pretty good here in Kearny, nj and at my house.

Im in Kearny, nj and skues are just dark to my south southeast.

Looks like storms trying to form all over me.

My grounds are pretty dry already even after 3" last week. Cool breeze but very humid feeling as well. 80 but sticky.

Wife said it was the worst rain she's driven in before. Checked the guage, got 1.5" if rain today.

Had some downpours at work but nothing more. Southern nj getting rocked.... Again.

Monsoon type downpour driving to work while on 95 in secaucus. Skues are just getting black everywhere.

Had non stop thunder and strong winds from those systems in nw Bergen County. Minimal rains. Sparta, nj reported 3.31" of rain this morning.

Small cell started building and moved into my area. Strongest winds of the day and monsoon rains.

Was clearing up up here in Bergen County. Blue skues and some sun were breaking through but that's gone. Clouds and darkness have filled back in.

Light rain but crazy amounts of thunder and lightning.

Had blue skies at home today. No smell if smoke but still hazey. Driving down turnpike you can almost see the cutoff from heavy smoke to light haze by Middlesex County area.

Have a cool breeze in Kearny right now. Making it feel tolerable minus the smell of smoke.

Driving into work this morning you couldn't even see Manhattan from the turnpike the smoke was so thick.

Thought the thunderstorms woulda cleared some of the smoke, in fact it's worse then earlier.

Was mehhh. Some moderate rainfall and a rumble of thunder.

Nice line if storms building to my northwest. Looks like it might hold together by me. Fingers crossed.
