.25" of rain from thunderstorm last night and rain today. Plants woke up. Hoping grass greens up again quickly.

Can't attach even low res screen shots. But storms splitting and going north and south of the Bergen bubble. Very dark to my south.

Boomer developing NW and western nj. While out on a training day for work. Gorgeous weather from bay head to belmar nj. Beautiful ocean breeze kept temps diwn a bit but once further inland it was brutal. Got up to 97 in red bank, nj.

Gorgeous drive down the garden state parkway this morning to red bank. 78 and clear skies.

Storms look to be getting stronger maybe. It is getting very dark to my north northeast.

The winds are picking up and the cool air coming from the west felt good. Strong storms dying up to my north.

Brutal out. Breeze not as strong at work. Our track workers taking measurements at 10am showed 126 on the trackbed surface before they did maintenance. Can't imagine how much worse it got as day progressed. Currently 96 at home in little ferry.

Got out of work and there was such a strong wind in Kearny it made it feel comfortable. Got home and it's a breeze and it's hot at home. Grass is turning brown already.

Not allergic to anything plant wise so i never have allergies. But this is the first spring that nothing was coated in green pollen from all the trees.

Spurts if heavy rain down here in Monmouth County. Rain looks to probably miss most of this area. Sussex county getting a much needed soaking g.

Just had a Facebook video reminder for May 9th,2020 and the snow flakes we got in little ferry. Was also amazed at how far behind all the tree growth was compared to this spring. Ohhh and it's raining in Bradley Beach. Cold as hell too.

Only thing that truly got damaged was my citronella I had just transplanted. Most of it browned but is coming back nicely. My catnip looked bad too but rebounded. Hostas curled up but nothing died thankfully. Any veggies we had in pots outside were dead on night two.

Had some heavy rains form overnight as a line came through. Walking out to the chilly air felt great!

Believe a lot of apple orchards in Sussex county and ny got hit hard too.

Winds howling yesterday caused a house fire 3 houses diwn to spread to a second home. Was so bad watching it unfold.
