  2. 21 degrees the AM up here. Felt like winter. Still have not seen a flurry this year!
  3. Yes once again the Northeast corner did pretty well. I was just under an inch and now over 10" for August. Crazy the delta from South Central to NEPA.
  4. The National Weather Service in Binghamton has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Lackawanna County in northeastern Pennsylvania... Southeastern Susquehanna County in northeastern Pennsylvania... Northeastern Wyoming County in northeastern Pennsylvania... * Until 800 PM EDT. * At 542 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. 5. Thanks for posting that steam flow detail. That really shows how different it is across the state especially how wet it has been in the majority of NEPA. Over an 1" again today and over 8" for August. Had close to 5" in July. Feel like I live in a Tropical Rain Forest and to hear someone mention "drought" is hard to believe within 150 miles. Need this with cold air in January!
  6. Up to 2.40" up here and 1.80" of that in 90 minutes. 6.70" for August and 11.06" since July 1st.
  7. 1.36" for the day and now 2.69" for August. BGM and AVP are both over +5" YTD with rainfall.
  8. Crushed last night and this afternoon by storms. 1.60" since midnight.
  9. Up to 4.84" up here in Clarks Green for the month. In Ocean City NJ at our beach place and sitting at 4.97" since midnight! Crazy thunderstorms and a deluge all night. Looks to be from Atlantic City south and that's it. Much needed down here as it was brown everywhere.
  10. 1.02 up here and a little more to come. Poured buckets for about 30 minutes with a lot of wind and lightning.
  11. Could Northern Tier get smoked later on tonight. Radar and messaging ramping up.
  12. Ended yesterday at .94 and now at 6.86 for the month. April was 6.65 and March 8.98.
  13. Never thought I would get another .75 inches of rain today. Getting old in the Northern Tier.
  14. Nice thunder and lightning show up here right now. Heavy rain as well.
  15. Not down south but totals in NEPA are crazy. Rainfall Today: 1.21 Rainfall for April: 5.55 Rainfall for 2024: 23.49 Was +12 inches over average in 2023. Every storm that goes through here knocks over tons of trees-healthy and unhealthy. The amount of tree damage the past months is nuts. I have lost 4 large mature trees.
  16. Can't wait for the people in Adams County posting about drought conditions this May when we finished 2023 at +10" on rainfall vs average and already have over 12" YTD since Jan 1 up here. the entire NE is under water for the past 18 months. That 12" was probably modeled as snow on the GFS at one point! Should be over 120" in snow for the year!
  17. 21 with snow showers up here. Feels like winter for 24 hours.
  18. Close to 5" up here so you "Southerners" didn't steal our snow this time! Crazy squalls coming through north of Scranton right now.
