Sitting tight in a cabin in Keysers Ridge/Grantsville area (2800’) 10mi NE of Accident, waiting for tomorrow night’s snow and possible blizzard conditions. Western snow forecast zones are tightly packed so could get anything from 1-3” … to 5-8”. No grass in sight here. Still have a solid 3” otg from last week’s 15” snowfall. Monday hi 20 — flurries all day Today’s hi 22 — Coating of snow on car this morning. Light constant snowshowers/flurries all day but for 2 hours of partial sun late morning, otherwise flurries. Even when it’s not really snowing there seems to be plenty of wispy flakes passing by.

Tuesday morning update from Grantsville/2800’ up — Flurried all night. Ongoing heavier snow showers this morning coated car. 16°. From my cabin in Grantsville, Md along Keyser Ridge at 2800’ ASL —arrived midday temp at 20° and same all afternoon. Light constant flurries. Still 2-3” otg from last week’s 15”. Wed night forecast has my attention: 80% chance snow windy 45-55+ mph into first part of Thursday. Nice potential setup for this location and particularly this elevation with a strong cold front and upper level energy Was nice driving west watching changing Columbia blue sky go to wispy clouds past Frederick to thickening clouds after HGR to the sky looking like snow toward Frostburg to !BOOM! flurries and snowshowery by Frostburg on westward to all afternoon flurries near Keyser Ridge (since noon). No snow otg heading west of Cumberland. First snow otg at Frostburg.

On the bright side, there is Snow TV Football tonight.

Heading to a cabin between Keysers Ridge and Grantsville for a few days. Will be nice to be in northern Garrett Cty at 2900’.

I keep hearing folks say the Ravens are a top-tier and Super Bowl-worthy team. IMO they are neither and that’s been my position all season. They may be playoff-bound/worthy but as they say, the really good teams find a way to win. The Ravens find ways to lose. They have rarely put together 3+ good quarters in any one game. Last week they did; but generally they don’t.

So frustrating watching this team almost every week. I love the Ravens but Philly has the mojo today. They look like the better team so far. Ravens MIA in 2Q.

Hope you’re right. All teams are imperfect. But not holding my breath. There are more deserving teams imo. I love rooting for the Ravens altho they disappoint much too often recently, especially late in games. Even when they take a lead late in a game they often flop anyway. They beat themselves; stupid, stupid penalties and at the worst times. Tucker is an enigma this year. Some of the play-calling is like wtf. Looking forward to Pitt game in Baltimore.

As they say, the really good teams find a way to win. Ravens easily could have a losing record at this point. I’ve observed 1 game this year where they played reasonably well start to finish. Maybe they are playoff-worthy. But no team loses more in the final two minutes than the Ravens. Super Bowl? They don’t deserve it.

Actually, that’s the game I meant when I said they should’ve lost last week.

Frustrating to watch. They almost always start slow and constantly hurt themselves. They deserved to lose last week IMO.
