All the models have everything slowly coming in to place with the cmc and nogaps models giving us a outright snowstorm,the euro is coming around. White christmas perhaps after so long??.

Incoming snow for us city folk. Guess the forecast was off a bit since nothing was modeled for tonight.

Apparently tonight,my forecast went from clear and chilly to chance of snow and sleet tonight. Also there is a clipper diving down thru mich currently. Something to track for the day i guess..

Nothing doing but snow showers in Central pa,there is a clipper diving down but we prob wont get much out of it. Maybe a flurry later on tonight. Ill take mood flakes atp.

6 to 8 am is gonna be interesting around these parts,squall line 1 means business and growing.

Its snowing here in the bronx,has been for the last 20 mins.

Some good echos are starting to build to our west and south. Pretty robust for a clipper i might add. I think it switches to all snow when the heavier stuff gets in.

As the pivot happens heading out to the ocean,i see nyc ending as a burst of snow. Its rare to see any storm moving south east down nj. Im curious as to see the interaction with the ocean once it exits the coast.

I believed in a backlogged season anyway. Also the warmth will come but the cold wont be far,its still winter.

La nina for a long duration,meant that a el nino year would be dicey to forecast in any sense. Also it's mother nature.

The 24th and 25th..might be the long duration humdinger for all of us. Its turning out to be a decent winter reguardless of ourcomes. Better then last year obviously.

They were but the qpf equated to more,in essence they should have 8 to 10 lol

Interesting that the temps stayed at freezing in the city itself,but ratios went up as you went north even with less qpf. Im kinda shocked because there is almost 3 inches of fluff outside and its still snowing. Temps were 28-29 here whole time.

Some good bands merging over us now. One from the nw and the other from the sw..rates are pretty gd now even if the radar doesnt indicate it.
