  1. 28F would be about 30 degrees below normal, which would be the equivalent of having a high near 90 in Mid March.
  2. Why was March historically more snowy ? Are average temps colder in March than December ? .
  3. Is there no model or map that takes into account ground temps ?
  4. I would imagine the first half of March is more conducive for snow than the last half of March.
  5. I don't care how cold it is in March, it is always difficult to get snow especially in the lower elevations.
  6. When are we going to be confident in what will transpire ? Are we going to have to wait until Sat night ?
  7. Sounds like what happens in the summer when some areas get drenched and a few miles away its sunny.
  8. By nasty are you saying March could feature a lot of cold, rainy days with highs in the 40s and 50s ?
  9. Things dont work like they used to. The climate was a lot different 30 and 60 years ago.
  10. I predict you will get a foot. When's the last time you had a foot of snow from a single storm ?
