  1. It looks similar to the last system to me
  2. Just looking at the general pattern, I would be surprised if we made it through the end of the season, mid March for me, without at least one more winter storm system. Could be snow, could be ice feel like we are just in that type of pattern - less weather knowledge than most here - just a gut feeling
  3. Sure hope we dont turn real cold with bunch of snow or ice covering everything
  4. Sounds good, so, it sounds like we have almost the same amount of tracking time with this system that we have had with the previous system.
  5. So do we think this would be doing the northwest shift as we get closer? Probably too soon to tell.
  6. Looks like the long range is all the chatter in the MA forum!
  7. I always like your posts, as they are so informative! We have some remaining chances, so that is good indeed! Hopefully, we can get through the rest of the season without having any major issues!
  8. That is a crazy set up with someone scoring big time, difference between now and then is that it appears that we would have much colder air moving into the area in the wake of what ever systems come through, the temps at or near freezing this go around have really assisted my area in staying relatively passable.
  9. Having lived through multiple consecutive winters where we had no snow or anything to track, and now being the recipient of three consecutive winters - Januarys in fact - where we had snowfalls, I will take a better than average chance of doing it again this winter!
  10. Now, moving onto the upcoming pattern, what are the chances that we do this again?
  11. I though that it looked more strung out, and that makes sense, we got no where near 5"-8"
  12. Looks to me like that tail of snow is moving up into KY, hopefully it comes due east but...roads are wet here, not sure how fast they will freeze up after dark, pretty quickly if it is snowing I would guess.
  13. Signal is there for another system to track for sure. Current one will result in 3" or 4" for my area.
  14. Yep, so far, this system has underperformed in my area, we will see what this band can do but...
  15. Here is my current feed north of Nashville.... https://fb.watch/x0X4qozHKG/
  16. Right! I have been surprised to see that no one has said anything yet. Seems like the current storm started further south than the forum area and moved north over time in modeling, if that is the case, we could be looking at some hefty totals for the TN Valley for the month of January in the snow column!
  17. Just asking, no one take this the wrong way please but what is the difference between this thread and the 24/25 observation thread and or the thread we already had for the storm? Just get cumbersome checking multiple threads for updated information.
  18. Snowing and accumulating in Cottontown!
  19. Should be a high impact storm; I think it was the 1970's that i remember big snow piles in grocery store parking lots days after the other snow had melted should be similar with this one.
  20. Yea, we could have some issues with power if it is a wet snow that is for sure - not very often you see heavy snow forecasted for Nashville
  21. Recent NAM looks like a beaut for me!
