    Early Dec looks great, I just hope the pattern stays for the month or leaves and pumps back for the holidays.

    Mood flakes yesterday and thanksgiving next week and a good set up to kick off meteorological winter, makes me wonder what to expect for Christmas time this year. Fingers crossed for a good set up for a seasonal Christmas time for once.

    That ridge is stayin. We want it gone, so she’s gonna set up shop. The stupid optimist in me is hoping it’s setting up for a pattern change close to turkey day. God knows the last time I didn’t wear a tshirt to Thanksgiving dinner, and I live in the damn mountains. Lol

    It’s so strange how it’s like a faucet was shut off. I agree climate change has a lot to do with it, however we could still get good winters 10 years ago. Something is certainly off. The writing is on the wall about this winter. I will be curious to see over the coming decades where the fault lies and where our climate ends up.

    It is wild how much things changed in just 10 years. I don’t know if it’s climate change, or just plain ol bad luck. However, not being able to have a banger of a winter in an El Niño, does not bode well. I really hope this isn’t our new reality, but it very well may be.

    I’m sure I ain’t the only one, but I just got the gut feeling that’s it for the year. Also I think this is just how it is these days. I’ll also bet money spring will be chilly and fuckin damp.

    Haha! She did great. We have a couple babies down here and they acted like they knew what it was. The horses all act like babies with a snow on the ground. Playin and having a ball.

    About 4 inches at the back barn. 27 and the wind picking up. What a cool little storm. Our 4 month old filly’s first snow.

    4.25 here on the fence posts. Was hoping for 2 so I am pleasantly surprised. Glad it’ll be cold enough to stick around for a bit too.

    How concerned are yall with the dry air eating up the snow? Do the models take that into consideration?
